July 2010 - BusinessAV at the British Masters Showjumping
For the second year running BusinessAV provided staging and event production at this International showjumping event held at Chester Racecourse. Dubbed the Hickstead of the North the event saw 50 world class riders jumping for the £120,000.00 prize money. David Lee, BusinessAV’s Managing Director said, “The organisers came to us with the brief of adding some creative production to the competition and I am sure it’s only a matter of time before other showjumping events follow our lead”.
June 2010 – BusinessAV at Chestival
BusinessAV have completed a month long partnership with Chester Festivals. Chestival 2010 was 33 days of jam-packed events from outdoor theatre productions in the Roman amphitheatre to a series of live band gigs outside the town hall. We were delighted to have been selected to provide PA, staging and event production for these events, the highlight being producing three ‘Audience With’ evenings with Dan Snow, Robert Lindsay and Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
May 2010 – BusinessAV helps Brother Industries celebrate 25 years in Wrexham
We are proud to have been selected to help one of Wrexham’s biggest employers celebrate 25 years of production in the town.
BusinessAV provided all the staging, AV, lighting and production for the event which was held inside the Brother factory. The event was attended by over 250 VIPs with representatives from The Welsh Assembly Government and Wrexham County Borough Council joining Senior Management from Brother who had flown in from Japan for the celebration.
February 2010 - BusinessAV Wins a Contract to Produce 22 Conferences for a Major Financial Organisation
We are delighted to announce that we have been selected to provide AV hire and production for 22 conferences over the next two years for a major international financial organisation. David Lee, BusinessAV’s Managing Director said, “It has been a real team effort winning this contract. Fresh thinking and creative ideas from our talented staff helped our proposal stand out from the crowd”. The events, to be held at various venues in London and Dublin, will be high profile conferences for up to 200 delegates using BusinessAV’s latest modern stock-sets and state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment.

Once again BusinessAV was chosen to produce The Network She Awards at a prestigious and glittering Gala dinner. The business community gathered together to reward business women from North Wales and the North West who have been recognized for their achievements or have made a positive contribution to their community.
The evening also held a surprise for David Lee, BusinessAV's Managing Director who won ‘The Network She Man of the Year’!

September 2009 - BusinessAV adds an Audience Response Voting System to its Hire Stock
We are delighted now offer our clients the opportunity to engage their audience with our state-of-the-art wireless remote devices; the days of presenting to a vacant or unenthusiastic audience are over as we can help bring enjoyment, stimulation and maximum involvement to any conference or live event.
Each delegate is given a small remote to communicate with the presenter, so you can now forget handouts, a show of hands and event valuation sheets as your audience can now engage directly with the presenter via their own remote.
All audience feedback is captured instantly and can be displayed LIVE to the audience. Data is also stored for post event evaluation allowing our clients to further analyse the results long after the event has ended.

July 2009 – BusinessAV takes delivery of The Mediasite Conference Recorder
We are pleased to announce that we are able to offer our clients a new dimension for their conferences and Live Events – Instant and interactive recording of their keynote presentations!
Our new Mediasite ML440 Recorder is a multi-media recording solution that captures all the elements of any presentation; the speech, PowerPoint slides, video and computer graphics are all recorded and synchronised together at the touch of a button. Alternatively, the presentation can be streamed live or saved and later used on-demand via the web.
David Lee, BusinessAV’s Managing Director said, “Previously having a conference videoed was an expensive option, but with Mediasite all the elements of the presentation are synchronised at the recording stage, this does away with lengthy post conference editing, so hiring Mediasite will prove very cost effective for our clients”.

February 2009 – More Stock Sets Added to BusinessAVs Hire Portfolio
As part of our commitment to offer our clients even more choice when it comes to set design, we are pleased to announce that we have just taken delivery of our new custom-made stock sets. Exclusively made to our specification, (the largest measuring over 14 metres long and 4 metres high) they are sure to add the ‘wow factor’ to any conference or Awards Ceremony.

These modern, versatile sets are specifically designed with angled wings, which offer clients maximum space when it comes to branding the set with graphics and logos. We have also invested heavily in new state-of-the-art lighting effects to complement these new sets.

Royal Appointment for BusinessAV
We are pleased to announce that we have been chosen to provide the staging and AV for the Royal opening of the £71million New Academic Building for the London School of Economics (LSE).
The event, attended by Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Phillip was held on the 5th November 2008.
BusinessAV designed and supplied a custom-made backdrop measuring 8 metres long by 3 metres high and printed in LSE’s corporate colours and logos. The backdrop also housed the plaque, which Her Majesty revealed during the official opening.
As well as the stage-set, we also provided 84inch plasma screens and PA for the event, which was attended by over 500 VIPs and students.

High Definition Conference a First for BusinessAV
We are pleased to be one of the first AV companies in the UK to offer our clients a full High Definition 103-inch plasma screen, complete with its matching custom-built stage-set.
This versatile set does away with the traditional screen and projector set-up which has been the conference standard for many years.& Not only do our clients love the clarity of the screen, but as we don’t have to take up the usual amount of space behind the set (for rear projection) venue managers love it too, as we can build the plasma set right up against the wall.

BusinessAV moves in to new premises
The move is a result of the continued growth of our conference and live event operations. The new building provides double the floor space, improved loading access and much more space for conference stage set building, equipment testing and rehearsals.
